2015 Trivia Bee
This years’ theme is “The 60s – BEE There Or BEE Squareâ€. A cherished Stockton tradition, the Trivia Bee is a fun and eventful evening filled with active participation from both teams and audience members.
BEE a TEAM: Sign up now to secure your team spot. Each team of three will answer trivia questions to win the coveted Bobble Head Trophy. The cost per team, including dinner, is $600.
BEE a Participant: For $25, join us for dinner, a silent auction, raffle and of course, the Trivia Bee. Prizes available for best costume, table decorations, and spirit.
Costumes are encouraged and enthusiasm is a must!

A STORY OF FASHION 2025
Join Delta College’s Fashion Program as it presents its 8th annual Designer Collections Show, A STORY OF FASHION.
The fashion show will feature 10 design students showcasing their fantastic collections on two runways. Look for original fashion design from our talented students and over 50 models presenting the collections.
The show is a highly stylized production, featuring some of the brightest design talent in the area.
A new year means a new location - the show stays fresh with each venue concept, constantly changing locations and creating a fresh and new story each year. This highly stylized show rivals the best in fashion show production. This year were pleased to partner with Deltas Athletics Program turning their gym into a cool show venue. Presentation: Panama Railroad Built During Gold Rush
You know about the Panama Canal but do you know about the Golden Horse -- the Panama Railroad built in 1851-55?
Juan David Morgan has written a book, The Golden Horse: A Novel About Triumph and Tragedy Building the Panama Railroad. He will share the fascinating saga of the railroad that had so much impact upon early California.
Program starts at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, in the Julia Harrison Micke Memorial Building in Micke Grove Regional Park. Dinner before the program will be catered by Angelinas. Cost is $10.

Friends of the Fox Present: The Great Escape
“The Great Escape†to be shown at Bob Hope (Fox) Theatre on Friday, May 15.
Doors open 6pm.
Movie at 7pm.
Enjoy the classic World War II film “The Great Escape†with Steve McQueen and James Garner, shown in widescreen on the BIG screen in the beautifully restored Bob Hope Theatre.
This film tells the true story of the mass escape from Stalag Luft III in Zagen, Poland, a new maximum security prison for those who tried to previously escape. See this film for the memorable scene with Steve McQueen on his stolen motorcycle doing his best to escape from his Nazi pursuers. The film was an enormous hit in 1963 and nominated for an Academy Award as well as the Golden Globe for “Best Pictureâ€.

Randy Sparks and New Christy Minstrels Dinner Concert
Join us for the seven-member New Christy Minstrels, under the direction of Randy Sparks, at a dinner concert benefiting the San Joaquin County Historical Society.
